Our History

Founded in 1995 by Gordon B. Lang, GBL was built on a foundation of actuarial expertise and a commitment to helping Canadian business owners and incorporated professionals navigate complex tax and retirement planning challenges.

Over the years, GBL has grown into a nationally recognized firm, expanding beyond its actuarial roots to provide a full spectrum of services. Today, our expertise spans Health Benefits Administration, Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plans, Retirement Compensation Arrangements (RCAs) and Fair Market Valuations.
